Venus has four eyes: Histories of calculated mistrust and desire.
An experimental musical rooted in the truths that emerge from studying historical and contemporary relationships between black women. There is more to our lives than the violence we endure, and the relationships between us are a rich area of study to understand the importance of interpersonal intimacy in navigating oppressive realities.

Huis Clos is a dance theater play unfolding in a single room, where movement, text, and silence reveal shifting dynamics between three figures and an unseen guide. With an atmosphere of questioning - of what keeps us here, of whether we choose to stay, of when the door last opened -the work lingers in uncertainty. Inspired by Sartre’s No Exit and Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, it explores confinement, memory, and the barriers we create for ourselves and each other.
