PEARL PRIMUS FELLOWSHIP
An inaugural Dance Research Fellowship focusing on the creative work and legacy of Pearl Primus, produced via a new partnership with Pepatián and Ninoska M'bewe Escobar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of New Mexico.
This inaugural fellowship offers paid professional development to two dance artists: Maima The Water Spirit and Christian Warner.
A conference at the Univ of New Mexico is planned for 2027-28
