WANDA RAIMUNDI-ORTIZ

Wanda Raimundi-Ortiz is an award winning interdisciplinary artist with works ranging from performance art, installation, drawing, painting, video and most recently poetry and spoken word. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, including Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico; Institute of Contemporary Art @ UPENN; Centro Cultural de España, El Salvador; has works in numerous permanent collections including El Museo del Barrio, NY and Jersey City Museum of Art. Awards include 2009 Bronx River Alliance Cultural Preservation Award, 2008 El Diario La Prensa's Mujeres Destacada Award, she is a two time BRIO Award (Bronx Recognizes Its Own Award) winner, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture Fellow, 2006 Ralph Bunche Fellow, MFA Rutgers University. Her work also appears in numerous catalogues and publications. She lives and works in the Bronx, New York. Wanda Raimundi-Ortiz
